A driving licence must be presented in legible Roman letters. An International Driving Permit (IDP) will be required if the driving licence is written in characters different to those of the renting country. A credit card in the name of the main driver is required, with sufficient funds for both the security deposit and for any service or extras requested locally. The card (either credit or debit depending on the destination/supplier) must be in the full name and surname of the driver and display the 16 numbers. The PIN code will be required. The Flexible Autos voucher is required when picking up your rental car. LICENCE REQUIREMENTSDriving Licences must be held for a minimum of 1 years. Otherwise the client will be charged for missing fuel, plus a refuelling charge of 40.00 EUR, not including VAT. ADDITIONAL DRIVERSADDITIONAL DRIVER REQUIRMENTS AREAdditional drivers have a local charge of 8.95 EUR per day plus local taxes with a maximum charge of 107.40 EUR per rental plus local taxes. All additional drivers must meet all rental requirements, accompany the main driver when picking the rental car up and sign the rental agreement. Your booking is allowed a maximum of 4 additional drivers per rental. DRIVING RESTRICTIONSGENERAL RESTRICTIONS AREDriving the vehicle without prior consent outside of the hire country will invalidate the agreed insurance coverage. CROSS BORDER/INTERNATIONAL ONE-WAYSInternational one-way travel is NOT available. The vehicle insurance will be deemed void if vehicles are not returned to the agreed pick-up location. The supplier permits driving across the borders into the following countries: The Cross Border charge is 9.08 EUR. The charge is payable locally, upon collection of the rental car. Cross Border fee is per day with a minimum charge of 27.23 EUR and maximum charge 99.83 NATIONAL ONE-WAY TRAVELFor National one-way travel, we will confirm the availability and the price of this service once the reservation has been made and we have received a confirmation from the supplier. FERRY TRAVELTravelling via the ferry is NOT permitted. GRACE PERIODTHE GRACE PERIOD ISThe supplier establishes a grace period of 29 minutes from the indicated time in the reservation. If the vehicle has not been returned after the grace period, a minimum unauthorised charge of 40 EUR, and a full rental day will be charged to the customer. IMPORTANT: EXTRASTHE AVAILABLE EXTRAS AREOptional Extras, are to be paid locally, they do NOT include local taxes and fee unless otherwise stated. Extras cannot be guaranteed and are subject to availability.
DELIVERY AND COLLECTIONDELIVERY AND COLLECTION AVAILABILITYThe delivery and collection service is NOT available. OUT OF HOURS SERVICETHE OUT OF HOURS SERVICE AVAILABILITY ISThe Out of Hour service for collecting the rental vehicle is by request basis only. This service may not be available at all locations. There will be an extra charge of 40 EUR + tax, in some cases airport/location fees may also be applied. All Out of Hours pick-up fees are to be pay locally. Any rental contract within opening hours, but from 23:59 pm will have an extra charge of 40.00 EUR. For this service it is essential that you provide your flight number. In case of delay in your flight, the client won´t be waited for unless the flight information is recorded at the time of booking. CANCELLATIONS AND NO SHOWSCANCELLATION AND NO SHOW POLICIES AND FEES
SUPPLIER/ROADSIDE ASSISTANCEROADSIDE ASSISTANCE INFORMATIONIn case of a breakdown customers must stay with the car and contact the rental office for assistance. Telephone numbers are on the rental paperwork, please confirm at the time of pick-up of the rental vehicle. In case of an accident, the customer must remain with the vehicle, and complete a police report at the time of the incident. In case of theft of the vehicle or vehicle equipment customers must contact the rental office and make a report to the police. Additional charges may apply for any towing services. Firefly offers free Road Assistance service (24/7) to all of their customers. Including free unlimited change over vehicles at the closest Firefly location, however if towing / taxis are required, this is not covered in the fee service and if customers do not purchase SuperCover they are for all towing and Taxi costs. EXTRA INFORMATION AND COSTSADDITIONAL CLEANING SERVICESA charge of up to 242 EUR will be applied if the vehicle is returned, exceptionally dirty, and the vehicle requires special cleaning. TOW CHARGESTow charges are: Service delivered in the same province the vehicle was rented: 109.00 EUR DELAYED OR DIVERTED FLIGHTSThe customer will have to claim a refund from the Airline Company, where a flight is delayed. If a flight lands in a different airport than initially booked, customer will have the possibility of getting the car in that destination Airport, subject to availability (if the supplier is present in that location) and at a fee per rental of 40 EUR. FAST TRACK/EXPRESS SERVICEThe is a Fast Track/Express service available. Fast Track allows the customer to collect their rental vehicle, in the preference lane at the counter for a charge of 40.00 EUR. This service is only available if pre-booked via the suppliers website and is available in Barcelona, Alicante and Malaga. WHAT''S NOT INCLUDEDWHAT''S NOT INCLUDED IN THE BOOKING COSTSAdditional Cost such as: Towing charges. Fines. Administrative expenses for fines. Traffic congestion charges and penalties. Administrative expenses for damages. Expenses for loss of use. Toll. Extra cleaning. Special services and any other concept not included in the section of what is included.
